The South-Western City School District cordially invites family and friends of the class of 2024 to the commencement ceremony set for Saturday, June 1, 2024. To help families and friends navigate the day seamlessly, please see pertinent day-of details below.

Location:
The Celeste Center, Ohio Expo Center
Times:
- Westland High School: Ceremony starts at 9:00 a.m.
- Central Crossing High School: Ceremony starts at noon.
- Franklin Heights High School: Ceremony starts at 3:00 p.m.
- Grove City High School: Ceremony starts at 6:00 p.m.
Doors open 30 minutes before the ceremony, and will promptly close 10 minutes after the ceremony begins. Many graduates, families and friends will be attending each ceremony, and traffic may back up. Please plan accordingly to ensure you can arrive in time to enter the ceremony.
Parking/Tickets:
Each building will have parking passes and (some may have) tickets per graduate. Parking is available for guests attending the ceremony who do not have a parking pass for an additional cost per vehicle. Please contact the school building ahead of the last day of school (Thursday, May 30, 2024) with any questions regarding parking and tickets.
Seating:
Ceremony seating is not assigned. Handicap seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Photography:
Professional photographers will be in attendance. Schools will advise families on how to get photographs taken at the ceremony.
Videography:
Professional videographers will be on-site to capture the ceremony for each school. Video links will be available to families and friends by mid-June.

The district and building want to ensure that these graduation ceremonies are a pleasant and dignified occasion for your family, peers, community, and yourself. Please review all rules and regulations set by each building and The Celeste Center.
Of note:
- Air horns, noisemakers, balloons, or anything that will distract from the ceremony will not be permitted at graduation.
- Guests are asked to remain in their seats until all graduates have exited the ceremony area.
- Non-compliance with rules and regulations or any inappropriate behavior will result in removal from the graduation ceremony along with additional disciplinary actions.
