The South-Western City School District Board of Education unanimously passed a resolution on April 14, 2025 regarding House Bill 96. 

Grove City High School sophomore Lilly Frazzitta has recently been selected for the 2025 National Honor Choir through the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). Lilly was chosen for the grade 8-10 Treble Choir, a highly selective ensemble that will perform at the ACDA National Conference in Dallas, Texas, from March 19-21, 2025.

Four SWCSD elementaries have been named to the 2024 Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) Momentum Award list. 

The South-Western City School District (SWCSD) is now enrolling for the 2025-2026 school year for any Kindergarten student who will be 5-years-old before September 30, 2025.

South-Western City School District (SWCSD) high school theatre departments are set to welcome audiences as they raise the curtains for their annual spring productions.

At the January 6, 2025 meeting of the South-Western City School District Board of Education, the Board approved the new calendar for the 2025-2026 school year.
