Directions for Youth and Families
The South-Western City School District has had a long-standing partnership with the Directions for Youth and Families program. Directions for Youth and Families treatment services provide counseling, community support, and clinical services to youth and their families.

As resiliency-oriented/trauma-informed agency, Directions for Youth and Families helps individuals and families address and overcome a range of issues including: school challenges, sexual abuse, delinquency, domestic violence, depression and anxiety, physical abuse/neglect, family conflict, grief and loss and substance abuse.

Most programs are provided on an outreach basis – in client’s homes, schools, or other community settings – to reduce barriers to treatment and provide services in the environment they are needed. Some office-based services are also available.
