Marburn Academy
Marburn Academy’s Summer School is an immersive, four-week academic skill-based program. Throughout their time at Marburn, students discover their academic strengths, build confidence, minimize learning loss, and prepare for the next grade level.
The programs are specifically designed for students with average-to above-average intelligence, who also have learning differences in reading, writing, mathematics and attention. While the best fit for our summer program are students with a diagnosis of dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or ADHD, it is not a requirement that a child have an official diagnosis to attend
Summer School. Instruction is delivered in small group or 1:1 settings using multisensory, hands-on techniques that reinforce and promote retention of information. Summer School 2021, for students entering Kindergarten through 9th grade, will be offered in two different formats, in-person* or virtual. Both formats will utilize the same curriculum and high-quality instruction, and all educators are Marburn-trained. *In-person programming will follow appropriate safety protocols.
In the event that we are not permitted to hold an in- person program, parents will be notified by May 14, 2021. At that point, we would move to a fully-virtual program for all participants.
