The Learning Spectrum
At The Learning Spectrum, we believe a coordinated team approach to treating a child with autism is of the utmost importance. Our Therapy Team works hand in hand with each other, along with our Academic Faculty and Parents to develop programs that benefit students both inside the classroom and out. We offer academic services from Preschool through 12th Grade, Inclusion Services, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Music Therapy, Drama, Art Enrichment, and ABA Services.
Relate & Grow
At Relate & Grow we focus on helping children reach their potential through a respectful, developmental, relationship-based approach that is individualized to each child’s unique strengths and challenges. We use the DIR Floortime philosophy to work with the child at home or in the community. We provide affordable intervention intensity and a team approach by training the child’s parents, caregivers, and other professionals in their team. Relate & Grow also provides professional development to outside organizations and professionals interested in DIR Floortime, the PLAY Project, or Teaching PLAY.
Our summer services for children and families include DIR Floortime and the PLAY Project, which are intensive autism interventions that enrich development and target the core deficits of autism (social communication, social interaction, and repetitive and restricted interests); academic support and remediation services for children who are ready for academics and need help catching up; instructional assistants, aides and PLAY Tutors to help provide intensive intervention, provide practice with academic and daily living skills or to support and/or work one-on-one with the child at their summer camp, daycare or other community location; intensive PLAY Project or DIR Floortime consultation at home or in the child’s summer placement; speech therapy, occupational therapy; supported outings and experiences; summer camps; summer playgroups and DIR and PLAY Project boot camps for parents and caregivers.
Our services are available to ALL children whether they need extra support or just want to participate in playgroups and camps that are inclusive of kids with varying abilities. Contact us for more information!
